قال الإمام ابن العربي المالكي :

والناس إذا لم يجدوا عيبًا لأحدوغلبهم الحسد عليه وعداوتهم له أحدثوا له عيوبًا .

Dijo el Imam Ibn al-Arabi al-Maliki:

"Si la gente no encuentra defecto alguno en quien envidian y tienen una enemistad, se inventan defectos suyos".
